Insurance Corner (Bob Klein 636-928-0510 or bobkleinkofc@msn.com)

We see a slowdown in the economy.  Your friend, a neighbor or relative may have been laid off.  We read about housing repossessions due to the subprime mortgage problems.  Even if we are not directly affected by these problems, if you go to the grocery store or fill up your gas tank, you know you have to stretch your paycheck a little further.   We may need to delay some of our purchases or reduce or eliminate some of our existing expenditures.  The decision is which expenditure do you eliminate?

Some expenditures like a dinner or movie out you may want to eliminate.  Some bills you can’t change.  Life Insurance should be one item you keep or increase.  We do not buy life insurance for ourselves but to protect our family. If a breadwinner dies who is laid off or having his home reposed, the family will have a much greater need for the life insurance.  If you are trying to reduce your expenditures, would you cancel your homeowners or auto insurance?    You may or may not ever have a claim.  With life insurance, it is not IF you will have a claim, it is WHEN you will have a claim.

Statistically the majority of people are underinsured.  Now more than ever in this time of rising costs you should  review your life insurance to be sure your family is sufficiently covered.  Your future starts tomorrow.  Contact me today
